General Description: Approximately two kilometres single bank fishing on the Ribble. The water is divided into two stretches by the junction with
Bezza Brook. The lower being the Seed House Farm water; the upper being the Lower Hall Farm water.
Access Arrangements: Members must drive slowly down Potters Lane to cause minimum disturbance to residents.
Access to the water is via the footpaths shown on the map. Anyone found walking in the fields away from the river bank will be subject to
disciplinary action.
Restrictions:
The Seed House Farm water is short and only permits six pegs. Accordingly members may not take guests on this water.
Salmon: All methods of fishing for salmon are allowed with the exception of the following: shrimp and prawn (rules of RADAC); float fished or lead
weighted static worm (rules of lease). Anyone found snatching for salmon will be expelled from the Club. This water is not far above the tide so
kelts may be in evidence in April. Before killing a fish check the gills for maggots, look for a thin belly, long white teeth, cut or ragged edge of tail
and ragged vent. If your fish has these characteristics it is most likely a kelt; if in doubt return it alive.
Sea Trout: No fish to be taken under 12 inches.
Night Fishing: When fishing at night please be quiet to avoid disturbing the residents. Members must be off the Seed House water by midnight.
